Noah Walley

Noah joined Hope Street Group's Board in December 2009. Noah leads Investor Growth Capital’s (“IGC”) technology investment effort in North America. Investor Growth Capital is the wholly owned venture capital arm of Investor AB, the largest listed industrial holding company in Northern Europe. Investor Growth Capital's 30 investment professionals manage a portfolio whose value exceeds USD $1 billion from offices located in New York, Menlo Park, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Stockholm and Amsterdam.
Noah Walley joined IGC in 2003 as a Managing Director with the IT team having previously spent five years as a General Partner with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners in New York. Noah has been active in venture capital since 1994 and prior to joining Morgan Stanley worked for the venture capital firms of Bachow & Associates and Desai Capital Management. Over the course of his career he has served on more than 25 private company boards. He currently is on the boards of Greenway Medical Technologies, Tangoe, Siperian, ForeSee Results, Recellular, Contextweb, ePac, Mindjet and Venda Ltd.
From 1990 to 1994 Noah worked at McKinsey & Company in New York. Noah has a J.D. from Stanford Law School and earned M.A. and B.A. degrees (first class) from Oxford University. He also serves as a member of the Stanford Law School Board of Visitors, as a board member of the American Friends of Stowe and recently led an effort to permanently endow a professorship in Modern History at Christ Church, Oxford University.
