Dina Rock

Dina has worked as an educator for the past 22 years in both the public and private sector.  She has taught across grade levels first through sixth grade.  Dina has taken an active leadership role in curriculum development and design in all subject areas and created integrated curriculum for two school districts.  Dina was an educational consultant for the Disney Corporation.  She designed teaching guides to accompany educational movies produced by Disney. Dina serves as a mentor teacher for graduate students pursuing a degree in education.  Dina holds a Masters in Education from John Carroll University and Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University with concentration on child development and family relations.

Sam Roe

Samuel most recently practiced law real estate and venture capital law with a large firm.  Samuel graduated from NYU School of Law. Immediate prior to law school, Samuel obtained a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hall in ‘02 as a Truman Scholar, Samuel worked for the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, DC and as a Logistics Management Specialist at Department of State.

Douglas Clark

Amelia Thompson

Amelia Thompson joined the Prisoner Reentry Institute at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in January 2008 as Project Administrator.  In this role she provides administrative support to the Institute and supports the management and ongoing development of the NYC Justice Corps.  Funded by the New York City Mayor’s Center for Economic Opportunity, the NYC Justice Corps aims to provide paid workforce development opportunities to formerly-incarcerated youth through participation in community service projects and internships.  Prior to joining the Institute, she served in the Spitzer Administration as Scheduling Assistant to the Downstate Chairman of the Empire State Development Corporation and as Policy Assistant on the Governor’s transition team

Dr. Kate Tulenko

Dr. Kate Tulenko is a globally recognized expert in the fields of health service delivery, health system reform, and health workforce planning and management.  She currently serves as a health policy specialist at the World Bank where she advises ministries of health on creating improved heath systems to deliver care to their populations.  She coordinates the Bank’s $2 million Africa Health Workforce Program which conducts research and funds programs at the country level to better understand and resolve the health worker shortage with an emphasis on labor market and private sector solutions.  She is currently writing a book on how the global health workforce shortage will affect the United States as its population ages.
